Specialist Facial Treatments

Both Microneedling by machine and manual Dermaroller are made up of many  tiny, microfine needles, which puncture the skin at a depth of between 0.5mm to 2.5mm, dependant on the skin condition and the area.    Before treatment begins, a  topical anaesthetic is applied to the skin for up to 30 minutes.  During the treatment an appropriate serum, to address a particular problem, is applied.  The tiny micro needles cause a trauma to the skin and during the healing process the skin produces extra collagen and elastin. The result is a brighter complexion with firmer skin.  The increase in collagen and elastin can help with sagging skin and the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.  When used to help scar tissue, new,  healthier skin is formed from the infusion of collagen and elastin, which help diminish surgical scars, wound scars and acne scars.    A caourse of up to 6 treatments is recommended for optimal results.  Number of sessions is dependant on the condition of the skin and the clients response after treatment.  We also offer the  nano-needling  facial - for those who just want to glow and go !! This facial has no down time and does not require any anaesthetic.

After the Dermaroller or micro needle treatment expect the skin to be red and hot.  The skin will be plump and tight.  There will be a day of gentle peeling around day 3,  after which the skin will be glowing. After effects last just a day and  clients should drink plenty of water and use a high sun factor cream.

The Caci non surgical facial works by lifting the facial muscles using a micro current technology to send tiny electrical impulses into the face and neck to tone muscles,  improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  Initially, a course of 10 treatments 2x weekly is recommended,  then after this initial 10 treatments, a maintainance program of 4-6 weekly is advised.

An amazing treatment for problem skin, ageing skin and perfect skin !!  This amazing facial exfoliates the skin and then draws out debris and impurities using suction.  As our signature facial, we also include steam, extractions and hot towel, finishing with a lymph massage and various serums and creams.

A super effective exfoliating treatment where we use a surgical implement to gently scrape the surface of the skin to remove dirt, dead skin, impirities and vellus hair (peach fuzz) . The fine hairs  are known for trapping the dirt, oil and dead skin cells in the pores and are a main cause of acne and blemishes.  Removing this with Dermaplaning leaves skin smooth, giving a perfect palette for make up application (great for brides for those close up photos !)  Clients with sun damage, fine lines, very dry skin and dull skin are great candidates, however,  those with inflamed acne  should pass on this until the complexion clears up. 

This amazing treatment is used for tightening loose skin and can be used for hooded eyelids, under-eye wrinkles, stretch marks, cheek wrinkles, loose wrinkly underarm skin, hands, really, any loose skin !  An amazing device  which creates a flash of plasma.   The plasma created transfers to the skin with absolute precision and does not harm any surrounding tissue.  The first and most immediate effect is delivered to the outer layer of the epidermis, where external micro-trauma is created, which helps to immediately contract and tighten the skin.   once treatment is over, the area will be hot and covered in tiny brown dots.  These will form a tiny scab and drop off as they dry out.   A topical anaesthetic is applied before treatment and aftercare will be given after treatment.   An amazing, long lasting, alternative to surgery !!
